Wednesday, as part of the 18th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup "Brazil 2019", after losing to South Korea [2-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29123-haiti-news-zapping.html in their opening match, our young Grenadiers were dominated on the pitch of the Stadium da Serrinha, in Goiania by the "Red" of Chile, during the second day of Group C and bowed [4-2] in a match that they had to win at all costs ..

With two defeats in as many games, our young Grenadiers have mortgaged their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages, three days of a final group match (2 November) against an impressive France since the start of the competition and already qualified.

Haiti fought well again, but lost again. Few solicited Fredler Christophe was more prominent on incursions right side. Dany Jean, on the left flank did the same, favoring the first Haitian goal on a penalty converted by Samuel Jeanty at 37'. Kervens Jolicoeur added a second goal for Haiti at 55', but that was insufficient to reverse the score. Chile was simply more realistic in front and stronger behind.
